Duties & Responsibilities

• The Educator agrees to list a minimum of six self-organized Certification Classes where both the Educator and AP Corporate will collaborate to fill the classes. This includes completeing the certification assessment for each student.

• The Educator agrees to perform a minimum of six Sugar Better Classes (one per quarter) in accordance with the AP “Sugar Better for a Year” program.

• The Educator is at liberty to list as many self-organized Certification Classes beyond the minimum requirement of six per year.

• The Educator is at liberty to list as many self-organized Master Classes as they desire to perform.

• The Educator agrees to be available for up to six contracted classes per year as assigned and organized by AP Corporate. Certification assessment will be performed by AP Corporate.

The AP Virtual Educator is responsible for performing the duties and responsibilities as outlined below for the Alexandria Professional Academy.

Virtual Support:

• AP Educator must commit to a minimum of 3 hours (up to 8 hours) of virtual support per student enrolled under them on the AP Academy for the Sugaring Certification Course. This includes but is not limited to email correspondence, private support within the Academy system, reviews of video submissions within the Academy system and video chat sessions.

• AP Educator must commit up to 1 hour of virtual support per student enrolled in the Sugar Better Course. This includes but is not limited to email correspondence, private support within the Academy system, reviews of video submissions within the Academy system and video chat sessions.

• AP Educator must commit up to 2 hours of virtual support per student enrolled in any Master Class. This includes but is not limited to email correspondence, private support within the Academy system, reviews of video submissions within the Academy system and the student’s live assessment.

• AP Educator should respond to any support request within 2-3 business days.

• AP Educator must ensure students have purchased additional virtual support if support will go past the allotted hours of the course they are enrolled in.

Choosing to participate in our Beauty Academy Program will require a greater time commitment. You will:

• Collaborate directly with Alexandria Professional’s Director of Schools to identify and establish beauty academies.

• Perform school demonstrations as part of the setup process.

• Be responsible for building and maintaining a strong, ongoing relationship with the schools you bring into the Program.

You have the flexibility to choose how many schools you’d like to partner with:

• If you prefer to work with just one school and focus on developing a strong partnership, that is entirely up to you.

At Alexandria Professional, what’s most important is that you enjoy your role in your AP career and that all AP patrons feel proud to be a part of our community.

• You must have an open, active account with Alexandria Professional and represent all brand products.
• You must be certified in sugaring by Alexandria Professional or an equivalent company.
• Must be a licensed esthetician or cosmetologist
• Must have worked primarily with sugaring for a minimum of 2 years.

As part of the official Educator Interest Form, you’ll be invited to record yourself responding to a series of thoughtful questions, giving us the opportunity to truly get to know you, your passion, and your voice as a future Alexandria Professional educator.

As part of the Educator Interest Form, you’ll be asked to submit a video showcasing your sugaring technique to allow us to assess your skill, precision, and alignment with the Alexandria Professional sugaring.

Once we’ve reviewed your Educator Interest Form and addressed any questions you may have, if you’re ready to move forward, you’ll be invited to formally join us by signing our Educator Agreement(s).

To immerse you in the Alexandria Professional training curriculum, you’ll be enrolled in our certification course through the AP Online Academy where you’ll deepen your knowledge and familiarize yourself with our education standards.

You’ll submit a practice video demonstrating how you would teach the 6 STEPS™ technique to new students, followed by hands-on experience providing feedback on real student videos to develop your ability to guide, correct, and refine technique with confidence and precision.

Attend a virtual training session with our Corporate Educator to learn all class protocols, ensuring consistency and professionalism in every Alexandria Professional training experience.

To officially begin teaching, you’ll submit your preferred class dates, which will be featured on our Class Listings page and supported through our online promotional channels.

• As an Alexandria Professional Educator, you are entrusted with upholding the integrity of our global education system, delivering every course in alignment with our official curriculum to ensure a consistent, high-level learning experience for every student.
• You will exclusively teach, demonstrate, and promote Alexandria Professional products, protocols, and methodologies.
• A polished, professional presence—both in attitude and appearance—is essential.
• You are also expected to teach with confidence and adaptability, skillfully leading both private and group training environments while supporting each student’s growth with clarity and precision.
