No, you do not need to be certified with us. However, we require some type of sugaring certification to purchase professional sugaring products.

Our professional sugaring certification course consists of 16 hours of training plus your certification assessment to be taken within 21 days of training.

Yes, with proof of school enrollment, you may sign up for our courses.

Yes, if your salon or spa is an active account, we offer a reduced course fee for each additional practitioner coming from that salon or spa for our sugaring certification course.

Yes, all course participants are requried to purchase a kit.

Although some companies may tell you that you do not need to be licensed to sugar, in the U.S. and many other countries, you must hold a valid cosmetology or esthetics license to perform any type of hair removal. Check with your state to see if they offer a shorter-term license specific to waxing hair removal which will then qualify you to perform professional sugaring treatments as well.

In some states, you may find that the state board of cosmetology allows a person to offer beauty treatments (including sugaring) if it is not listed in their roster of licensing regulations.

If you are unlicensed, it is your responsibility to check with your state board of cosmetology for all licensing regulations.

If you don't see a course listed in your area, we may not have a local educator. Your options are as follows:

1. Register into a course nearest to your area.

2. Contact our office to learn how you can request an educator come to your location.

3. Register for our online training, which provides the same quality education, but with the flexibility to work on your own schedule.

Yes, we do! We have several sugaring and spa masterclasses available for in-person and online.

Each state board of cosmetology has its own specific requirements and it is the responsibility of the licensee to verify with their state board if they will accept the hours of the course for C.E.Us. Alexandria Professional can provide necessary documentation if needed once the practitioner verifies with their state board.

Alexandria Professional is an independent manufacturing company and our courses are dedicated to helping salons unlock the professional, financial and consumer benefits of body sugaring for the betterment of their business. Any extended benefits or qualifications, like a state-regulated C.E.U, are only a complement to our provided education and must be thoroughly researched by the trainee.

Orders placed by 3 pm EST Monday- Friday will typically be shipped out the same day though there can be a 1-2 day processing time on some orders. Depending on the shipping method, please allow 3-5 business days starting from the day after your order ships for it to arrive.

Along with your full shipping address, a daytime phone number and email are required on all orders. If you require expedited shipping, please contact our office at 1-800-957-8427 and we will be happy to assist you.

Shipments to Alaska, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico will be charged an additional fee for air shipping.

Any claims of shortages and/or damages must be reported within 48 hours of receiving the shipment. Please include pictures of any damage to both the products and/or packaging using the Shipping Claims Form.

All other claims in regards to products must be reported within 30 days of receiving the order.

Please fill out the Shipping Claim Form for any defective products and a customer service representative will review your claim and advise accordingly.

Any unused and unopened products must be returned within 10 days of receipt of goods and are subject to a 30% restocking fee plus all shipping costs. Before returning any product, you must fill out the Shipping Claims Form.

You will be contacted by a customer service representative to receive an RA# (Return Authorization Number). Merchandise returned without an RA# number will be refused and returned to sender at their cost.

Opened or used items will not be accepted.
